MSME Udyam Verification API

MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise) verification is increasingly important as the Indian government expands support programs, subsidies, and preferential treatment for registered MSMEs. The Udyam Registration system, introduced in 2020, provides a unique identification number for MSMEs based on self-declared investment and turnover data. digiverification 's MSME Verification API enables businesses and institutions to validate Udyam registration numbers in real-time.

The API verifies the Udyam Registration Number against the MSME ministry's database and returns comprehensive details including the enterprise name, type of organization, social category of the entrepreneur, date of incorporation, date of commencement of production, NIC code (National Industrial Classification), major activity (manufacturing or services), and the enterprise classification (micro, small, or medium).

For lending institutions, MSME verification is critical for processing business loans under government schemes like the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE), Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS), and Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana.
